When one of my students finishes a book (and before he takes it home), I have him read that book to the rest of his Special Education class as part of our story time. This gives him a confidence boost and allows the non-Project MORE students to participate in the reading experience. This also teaches/reinforces oral reading skills like inflexion of voice, holding a book, volume, etc.
