Parents
Parents play a vital role in helping their children learn to read.  Most Project MORE schools send books home on a weekly basis once the child has demonstrated his/her ability to read the book with no mistakes. Children then can build their library at home of books at their reading level.

The Partnering with Parents Article entitled "Literacy and the School-Home Connection" can be found on page 6 of the following Ohio Department of Education's Highlights in Education link: http://www.ode.state.oh.us/GD/DocumentManagement/DocumentDownload.aspx?DocumentID=1889
